The Associate of our Journal Politics and Religion,
Mr. Aleksandar Dragovic, also Editor of Journal Noor published by the
Cultaral center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Belgrade, was
granted special award in Tehran for his translation of poetry of great
Iranian poet and schoolar Jalaludin Rumi to Serbian language.
He was honored to recieve the
award from His Excellency Mr. Mahmood Ahmadinejad, the President of the
Islamic Republic of Iran.
During a research stay in
Tokyo, Japan, Viseslav Simic, a Wasinghton, D.C. collaborator of
Politics and Religion Journal, visited Dr Inoue Nobutaka of Kokugakuin
University in Tokyo, and presented him with a digital version of
journal (2/2007). Mr Simic and Dr Nobutaka discussed future cooperation
possibilities in the field of political science of religion.
