Овај чланак је посвећен актуелном проблему спајања организованог криминала са верским ектремизмом, тачније, са исламским организацијама. Проблем јачања вахабизма у криминалном миљеу је слабо изучаван. Посебна пажња је упућена исламском прозелитизму међу руским затвореницима и процесу продора екстремистичких идеја у криминалном миљеу. Аутор закључује да је неопходно поставити питање формирања регуларних затворских верских службеника – како правосланих тако и муслиманских, што би минимализовало ширење различитих форми не-традиционалног ислама.
