Унапређење положаја жена у Организацији исламске сарадње

Овај чланак разматра став Организације исламске сарадње (ОИС) о унапређењу положаја жена и начине његове примене, с обзиром на значај овог развоја на цивилизацијском нивоу. Такође, објашњава перспективу ОИС-а о „родној равноправности и оснаживању жена“ у оквиру исламских вредности и упоређује је са секуларним приступом. Посебна пажња посвећена је праћењу програма, пројеката, споразума и планова ОИС-а који се односе на питања жена и њихово оснаживање. Фокус је на Плану акције ОИС-а за унапређење положаја жена (ОПААW 2016) и његовим циљевима. Анализирају се механизми за примену и мерење ефеката ОПААW-а, нарочито након оснивања специјализоване организације за женска питања 2020. године – Организације за развој жена (WDO). Чланак затим анализира аспекте постигнутог напретка у неким државама чланицама ОИС-а, у различитим околностима. Користи се дескриптивно-аналитички приступ у истраживању перспективе оснаживања жена. Прикупљени су довољни подаци о механизмима и инструментима којима ОИС примењује ОПААW, а добијене статистике су интерпретиране.
